Review of Method on Complete Rectal Prolapse

Abstract
|
|
|
A clinical observation was made on 15 cases of complete rectal prolapse at 17th Army Hospital during the past 4 years from August 1965 to August 1969.
1. Rehn-Delorme´s operation was carried on 2 cases with recurrence in one case.
2. Orr´s operation was carried out on 9 cases with recurrence in 2 cases.
3. Todd´s method was carried out 4 cases without recurrence.
This suggest that Todd´s operation for complete rectal prolapse is one of the most effective surgical therapy.
